The documentary focuses on Chris Moneymaker's huge victory at the 2003 World Series of Poker, interspersing that story with a look at the history of the sport. All In: The Poker Movie is a 2012 documentary about the growing popularity of the sport of poker. The documentary began production in 2009, in the midst of a huge poker boom throughout America, and debuted soon after “Black Friday,” a landmark day in 2011 in which the US Government filed lawsuits against the founders of online poker sites PokerStars, Full Tilt Poker and Cereus.
